Chance The Rapper just had the best meet-a-celebrity story!
The 29-year-old music star shared the very heartwarming story of what happened when he met Martin Short on a recent flight.
Chance recounted that he was flying with his seven-year-old daughter Kensli, but the father and daughter did not have seats next to each other. He went on to say that he did not want to inconvenience those around him by asking them to switch seats with him.
As it turns out, Martin was on the same flight! And when he saw what was going on, he immediately offered to switch seats so that Chance and Kensli can seat beside each other.
Chance said:
“So I just got on this plane with my daughter, and found out our seats weren’t next to each other.
I really ain’t wanna inconvenience anyone by asking them to swap seats, but before I could say anything this kind older gentleman offered his seat to Kensli so we could sit together. We both said thank you and as he stands up, I realize it’s THE Martin Short!! So cool and Kensli freaked out cause she’s obsessed with The Santa Clause 3.
What an awesome person! SHOUTOUT TO JACK FROST.”
When a fan asked if Martin realized he switched for Chance The Rapper, chance replied:
‘Definitely not, which made it way cooler. He just a nice dud ig.”
