Chance The Rapper’s wife, Kirsten Corley, has filed for divorce after five years of marriage. The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, made the difficult decision to part ways earlier this year. On December 13, Kirsten officially filed for divorce, although the news of their split was made public back in April.

According to TMZ, the online divorce documents have yet to be released, so the details surrounding the divorce remain unclear. It’s not yet known if Kirsten is requesting spousal support or how they will divide custody of their two daughters, Kensli (9) and Marli (5).

Back in April, Chance and Kirsten shared a joint statement on Instagram to announce their separation. The statement read, “After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways. We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together.”

The couple’s message went on to acknowledge their two daughters, expressing, “God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together. We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate this transition. Thank you.” The statement was signed, “Chance & Kirsten.”

Despite the amicable tone of the announcement, the separation has been followed by speculation and rumors. Back in 2023, a viral video of Chance raised questions about his marriage, which added fuel to the fire of public speculation. However, Chance and Kirsten have chosen to remain relatively private, focusing instead on co-parenting their daughters and moving forward with their lives.
