Chappell Roan is diving into country music—at least for now!

The 27-year-old Grammy winner just released The Giver, her first new single in nearly a year since Good Luck, Babe!. Fans first got a taste of the track during her Saturday Night Live performance last November, and now, it’s officially out.

“I have such a special place in my heart for country music,” Chappell shared in a statement. “I grew up listening to it every morning and afternoon on my school bus and had it swirling around me at bonfires, grocery stores, and karaoke bars.”

But does this mean she’s making a full country album? Not necessarily. “Many people have asked if this means I’m making a country album???” she teased. “My answer is… right now, I’m just making songs that make me feel happy and fun. The Giver is my take on c-ntry xoxo may the classic country divas lead their genre, I am just here to twirl and do a little gay yodel for y’all.”

Speaking to Rolling Stone, she reflected on her musical influences. “I’m from southwest Missouri. Grew up on Christian and country, and then found Alejandro by Lady Gaga and I was like, ‘I think I like this, too.’”

Chappell also revealed that The Giver was inspired by Big & Rich’s 2004 hit Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy). “I was like, ‘I want to feel that way on stage. I want to feel that,’” she explained. “Because that’s how I write. I’m like, ‘How do I want to walk around on stage and sing?’ And I was like, ‘I want to write that song, but Chappell’s version.’”

While there’s no official release date for her next album yet, fans can expect more music soon—and possibly, a little more twang along the way!

[Intro]
(Two, three)

[Verse 1]
Ain’t got antlers on my walls
But I sure know mating calls
From the stalls in the bars on a Friday night
And other boys may need a map
But I can close my eyes
And have you wrapped around my fingers like that

[Pre-Chorus]
So, baby
When you need the job done
You can call me, baby

[Chorus]
‘Cause you ain’t got to tell me
It’s just in my nature
So take it like a taker
‘Cause, baby, I’m a giver
Ain’t no need to hurry
‘Cause, baby, I deliver
Ain’t no country boy quitter
I get the job done
I get the job done

[Verse 2]
Girl, I don’t need no lifted truck
Revvin’ loud to pick you up
‘Cause how I look is how I touch
And in this strip-mall town of dreams
Good luck finding a man who has the means
To rhinestone cowgirl all night long

[Pre-Chorus]
So, baby
If you never had one
Call me, baby, yeah

[Chorus]
‘Cause you ain’t gotta tell me
It’s just in my nature
So take it like a taker
‘Cause, baby, I’m a giver
Ain’t no need to hurry
‘Cause, baby, I deliver
Ain’t no country boy quitter
I get the job done
I get the job done

[Bridge]
Na-na-na, na, na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na, na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na, na-na-na-na
Na-na-na (She gets the job done)
Na-na-na, na, na-na-na-na
Na-na-na, na, na-na-na-na (She gets the job done)
Na-na-na, na, na-na-na-na
Na-na-na

[Chorus]
‘Cause you ain’t gotta tell me
It’s just in my nature
So take it like a taker
‘Cause, baby, I’m a giver
Ain’t no need to hurry
‘Cause, baby, I deliver
Ain’t no country boy quitter
I get the job done
I get the job done

[Outro]
I get the job done
I get the job done
I get the job done
Yes, ma’am, yes, I do
You’re welcome
