Chase Stokes recently opened up about what it’s like to still work alongside his ex-girlfriend Madelyn Cline on Outer Banks. If we were not to honor that, we would be dishonoring ourselves and a lot of people who have invested into this show and these characters.”
He added that even though life and relationships evolve, their connection to the show has remained steady. “Although things change and life takes different shapes and forms, one thing that’s always stood true for her and I is that the show is our first love.”
This isn’t the first time Chase has addressed working with Madelyn after their split. In the past, he’s expressed a similar sentiment about putting the show and their characters ahead of personal matters. He spoke fondly of the show’s setting, Charleston, which plays a huge role in the heart and magic of Outer Banks. “I think the heart of the show will always be home,” he shared. “There’s something magical that happens when we are in Charleston and we get back to our roots.”
