There’s a wild theory going around about what may have gone down during Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles’ recent romantic getaway – some fans seem to think the two have secretly tied the knot in Italy!
The rumors started last week when a photo of a magazine cover with the headline “Just Married!” over a photo of Olivia and Harry on a boat was shared on Twitter. It also had sub-headings, including: “He proposed in Italy”; “She can’t wait to start a family”; and “Harry designed the $185,000 ring.”
The post quickly went viral, with confused fans sharing reactions like:
“HARRY STYLES GOT MARRIED???? SOMEONE SAY SIKE RN.”
“IS HARRY STYLES ACTUALLY MARRIED OR IS IT JUST A SICK PRANK???”
“Harry Styles proposed to Olivia Wilde in Italy and is now married i’ve lost all hope in life. wtf did i miss?”
Olivia landed in LAX earlier this week, and in a video published by MailOnline, a member of the paparazzi tried to get confirmation from the actress herself.
“There’s a massive Internet conspiracy that you and Harry are already married. Not true? True?” the paparazzi asked.
Her response? “I’m never going to talk to you guys.”
The clip has also gone viral on Twitter, with fans commenting things like, “I feel bad for her imagine how annoying that is,” “I don’t blame her or anyone for not talking to the paps,” and “I feel really bad for her leave her alone.”
Olivia and Harry worked together in the upcoming film, Don’t Worry Darling, which she directed and he starred in.
In November 2020, Olivia publicly spoke about Harry for the first time.
“To me, he’s very modern, and I hope that this brand of confidence as a male that Harry has—truly devoid of any traces of toxic masculinity—is indicative of his generation and therefore the future of the world,” she said in an interview with Vogue.

In January, photos of the two of them attending a wedding together made headlines and sparked speculations that they were an item. While neither have publicly addressed the romance rumors, they’ve been spotted looking all loved-up and couple-y on a number of occasions.
