Olivia Rodrigo turned 18 on Saturday (February 20) – and, boy, did she get a surprise she wasn’t expecting.

ICYMI, Saturday also marked Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page’s Saturday Night Live’s hosting debut. And he and Kenan Thompson, Pete Davidson, Mikey Day and several other SNL cast members did an almost-four minute sketch featuring Olivia’s hit song, “Driver’s License.”

The sketch starts with Regé hanging out with a bunch of rough-looking pals playing pool at a bar – and he puts on the song on the jukebox.

“Sounds like some teen girl singing in her room with a piano,” Mikey, who played one of Regé’s pool buddies, says.

“That’s the beauty of it,” Regé shoots back. “You got a problem?”

As the song plays, the initially-tough crowd slowly starts to melt and reveal their softer side, at first, grudgingly admitting their appreciation for the emotional tune, then going on to open up about how they relate to the break-up at the center of the powerful lyrics – and even got into a heated debate about the song’s true meaning.

“It’s like she ripped a page out of my diary,” Beck Bennett says, before trying to look tough again. “I mean, notebook. I mean ,plain brown leather. I can’t read or write.”

But by the time the bridge hits, all the guys were totally in their feelings – they were singing along to the song together with arms around each other’s shoulders.

Just goes to show how even the the manliest men can’t hold back tears when “Drivers License” comes on.

Olivia’s debut single last dropped last month and shot to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart in its first week and went on to break the record for the biggest weekly streaming debut with 107 million worldwide streams. It also set the Spotify record for most streams in a single day for a non-holiday song with 15.17 million plays – only to beat it one day later by hitting 17.01 million streams in a 24-hour period.

And Olivia is absolutely thrilled with the sketch.

“DRIVERS LICENSE SNL SKETCH IS THE BEST BIRTHDAY PRESENT EVER IM SHAKING,” she tweeted after the sketch aired.

Happy Birthday, Olivia!
