Chris Evans has the best response to his accidental social media blunder over the weekend.
ICYMI, Chris became a top trending topic on Twitter on Saturday (September 12) – after he appeared to have accidentally leaked a NSFW photo on his phone’s camera roll.
Fans have been busy trying to bury the racy pic by sharing more wholesome photos of the actor – like adorable photos of the Chris with his dog, Dodger. Friends also hopped on the platform to make light of the blunder.
On Monday (September 14), Chris himself went on Twitter to share an important message and seemingly acknowledge the revealing post.
“Now that I have your attention … VOTE Nov 3rd!!!” he tweeted.
Fans and friends were again quick to show their support – as well as tease him a little about it.
“This is a power move,” Hilarie Burton Morgan wrote.
“The commitment to your cause though,” a fan responded to his tweet, adding multiple clapping hands emojis.
“Ah, it was all part of your plan. Well done,” another Twitter user wrote.
According to multiple reports, Chris shared a video of him playing Heads Up with his fam on his Instagram Story, the process of which involved a screen recording from his iPhone. But when the video of the game ended, the screen showed his camera roll instead – and…well, the camera roll reportedly contained a bunch of Chris’ photos, the Heads Up video, along with a photo of a man’s privates.
The clip quickly went viral – before Chris realized what had happened and took down the original post.
But because the internet is forever, screenshots began circulating around the internet. It’s important to note though that there’s no way of knowing whose body part it was that’s featured in the photo. And, it’s also not 100% clear whose camera roll it was that was captured in the screen recording – even though it had a ton of his pics.
