Chris Evans has the best response to Lizzo’s joke about having a “little America” on the way.
Chris and Lizzo’s flirty social media exchanges have been nothing short of adorably hilarious – and their latest is entertaining fans with some good as hell content.
Last week, the “Truth Hurts” singer went on TikTok and jokingly started a rumor about being pregnant with Chris’ baby.
“This is something that I’ve been really trying to keep personal and private just between me and the father of my child,” she said. “But since we’re airing out all the rumors today, I’ve been sucking in. We’re going to have a little America.”

Earlier this week, Lizzo returned to the platform to share a screenshot of their DMs.
“Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joy,” Chris wrote with a laughing emoji. “My mother will be so happy lol.”
He has one request though. “(Just promise me no gender reveal parties lol),” he added.
Lizzo was obviously ecstatic at his reply. “Guess what besties?!” she wrote on the video. “We secured the child support bag!!!!!”
She also captioned the post, “OMG YALL — HE SAW THE BABY BUMP! WE DID IT! NOW YALL GOTTA NAME LIL MERICA!!!!! WHAT YALL BOUTA NAME MY BABY ?!”
And fans were eager to suggest possible baby names.
“Y’all can name it Erica,” one person suggested, adding, “because you can’t spell America without Erica.”
“Name yo kid Steve Rogers,” another wrote.
The duo’s delightful DM saga began in April, when Lizzo revealed that she drunk DM’d Chris, sending him a series of emojis – a gust of wind, a female basketball player, and a basketball emoji – which basically means the “Truth Hurts” singer was shooting her shot with the Hollywood hunk.
“Don’t drink and DM, kids…” she wrote alongside the TikTok video showing her message to him. “For legal porpoises this is a joke.”
A couple of days after her original TikTok, Lizzo revealed that Chris replied to her DM – and *spoiler alert* he was totally nice about it.
“No shame in a drunk DM [kissing face emoji]. God knows I’ve done worse on this app lol [face palm emoji.]” he responded – many believe he’s referencing that time he accidentally shared an NSFW photo on social media.
Their DM exchange didn’t stop there though. When a fan asked if there was an update about Lizzo’s Chris Evans situation, she responded by flashing a screenshot of their DM in a new TikTok video.
“Well.. they say u miss 100% of the shots you never take, (and even tho I unsent it like a dork), I’m glad you know I exist now,” Lizzo wrote.
“Of course I do!” Chris replied. “I’m a fan! Keep up the great work! xxx”
And clearly, they’ve been DM-ing some more – it appears they’ve had a few more exchanges since Lizzo’s last shared it, which can be seen in the higher portion of her latest screenshot.
