It’s been 10 months since Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger tied the knot – and they’re about to add a new addition to their family.

Over the weekend, People reported that the couple were expecting their first child together.

And a source told Entertainment Tonight, “Chris and Katherine are extremely happy to be pregnant with their first child.”

Chris and Katherine were married in June 8, in an intimate ceremony in Monetcito, California. This will be Katherine’s first child – Chris is already dad to 7-year-old Jack, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris.

The mom-to-be had just published her fourth book, The Gift of Forgiveness, which has made the New York Times Best Sellers list for four weeks in a row. She has been on a book tour since March, but has transformed those scheduled events into virtual ones due to coronavirus concerns.

“The couple knew going into their relationship that having kids together was important to them, so when they found out the news they were extremely happy,” the source says. “Although Katherine was busy promoting her book in the beginning of her pregnancy, she now has time to be at home and get things ready for when the new addition arrives. Chris is so excited.”

Chris and Katherine have yet to announce their happy news with fans, but the expecting mom has been spotted showing off her baby bump while walking her dog out in Los Angeles.

Congrats, Chris and Katherine!

The couple have also been giving back amid the coronavirus pandemic. In late March, they went on Instagram to read Katherine’s children’s book, Maverick and Me, to benefit Save With Stories, Save the Children and No Kid Hungry.

Chris is also set to take part in a Parks and Recreation reunion special, along with his co-stars, which include Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, Adam Scott, Rob Lowe, Rashida Jones, Aubrey Plaza, Aziz Ansari, Retta and Jim O’Heir are (remotely) reuniting for a scripted half-hour Parks and Recreation special – and they’ll be in character! The special, which will air on April 30, is to raise funds for coronavirus relief efforts and will benefit Feeding America.
