Is Bughead dunzo IRL?

According to multiple reports, Riverdale sweethearts Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart have gone their separate ways.

“Cole and Lili split before the pandemic hit, and have been quarantining separately. They remain good friends,” a source tells Page Six.

Another source told People that the pair tend to be on and off, but are now currently off.

Sources told E! that it was quarantining separately that strained their relationship.

“Lili and Cole were in a good place when Riverdale was shut down due to the coronavirus outbreak, but they isolated separately and distance has never been a good thing for their relationship,” one source said. “When Cole and Lili are around each other often, things are very good. Their relationship is very intimate and affectionate, but things become much more complicated when they’re apart.”

“Distance is never good for their relationship. They decided not to quarantine together and knew off the bat that it wasn’t going to work. They both know their communication is better when they are together in person, and it just wasn’t working,” another source added.

And Skeet Ulrich, who played Cole’s onscreen dad in Riverdale, may have implied about the breakup during his Instagram Live sesh.

When a fan asked if he thinks that Cole and Lili made a cute couple, he responded with: “I think they were a very cute couple.”

His girlfriend, Megan Blake Irwin, also chimed in, saying “They were a very cute couple” – emphasis on “were.”

Then again, Cole and Lili have been hit by breakup rumors time and time again over the course of their three-year relationship.

Fans were shook when multiple reports came out thatthey split last July – just days before they were featured in a very couple-y looking pic on the cover of W Magazine.

However, they shut those breakup rumors down. Lili went on social media to share their cover with this caption: “BREAKING: A reliable source has confirmed that none of you know s–t.”

Lili also went on Twitter to post, “Don’t believe everything you read on the internet, kids. And news sources should try a little harder to be less vile. ‘Reliable sources’ can kiss my a–.”

In April, a rumor that Kaia Gerber may have caused Lili and Cole to split was going around. Fans also noted that Lili deleted several photos of her and Cole together from her Instagram around that time. Other sleuth-y fans also did some deeper digging and found that her mother and sister appeared to unfollow him on social media.

But Cole went on Instagram Stories with an open letter to his so-called fans, calling out their “insanity and fanaticism.”

“I tolerate a lot of rumors and slander from people online claiming to be my fans. Fans who feel entitled to my privacy precisely because I never indulge them,” he wrote. “But attacking my friends, baseless accusations, leaking my address, and sending death threats are all qualities of insanity and fanaticism. Choose humanity, stop being [clowns].”

“When I first stepped into a public relationship, this was one of the foreseeable consequences,” he continued. “While I truly never intended to indulge any part of my private life to the ravenous horde, it’s clear my restraint in updating them has allowed them to push their own agenda onto my habits and lifestyle.”

So far, neither Cole nor Lili have reacted to the latest reports of their split.

Mary-Kate Olsen has now officially filed for divorce from Olivier Sarkozy.

As a refresher, the Elizabeth & James co-founder reportedly initially tried to file for divorce on April 17 – but with the coronavirus pandemic going on, the courts in New York were not accepting divorce filings – unless it’s an emergency.

On Wednesday (May 13), Mary-Kate requested an emergency order to file for divorce, claiming that Olivier was trying to force her out of their New York City apartment. However, Mary-Kate’s request has been denied. Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Michael Katz made the ruling on Thursday (May 14), according to New York courts spokesman Lucian Chalfen.

New York has since lifted its moratorium on nonessential and nonemergency court filings amid the coronavirus pandemic. According to the New York Daily News, Mary-Kate’s lawyers were among those who first filed paperwork on Monday (May 25).
