Luke Bell has passed away.
One week after he was reported missing, the rising country star was found dead in Arizona. He was 32.
The Tucson Police Department confirmed the news, saying:
“He was found dead in the 5500 block of E. Grant Road in Midtown Tucson. The investigation is on-going at the moment.”
They also stated that Luke was found on August 29 near where he had been reported missing on August 20.
His friend and fellow musician Matt Kinman first confirmed the sad news to Saving Country Music, telling the outlet that Luke’s “mental state took a turn for the rose” recently amid his late friend’s battle with bipolar disorder.
Luke rose to fame with the release of his debut album Don’t Mind If I Do back in 2014. He signed with Thirty Tigers in 2016 and dropped his self-titled album later that year. He released his latest single “Jealous Guy” in January 2021.
Our thoughts go out to his loved ones.
