DDG is making headlines after accusing his ex-girlfriend Halle Bailey of keeping him from their son.

On March 7, the 27-year-old rapper, whose real name is Daryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., took to social media to claim that the 24-year-old actress and singer has been preventing him from seeing their 14-month-old son, Halo.

“Been fighting to see my son for months now,” DDG wrote in a now-deleted post on X.

“Shout out to all the Dads who try their best to be there. This s–t sucks,” he continued.

After removing the post, DDG took to a live stream to further express his frustration, explaining that he had been trying to keep things private but was reaching a breaking point.

“I really feel like I’m a f–king nanny at this point,” he said, via TMZ. “The nanny has been able to have my son more than me. And I don’t even know the nanny’s name. Like, it’s just not fair bro. So I have to come on here and I gotta do this s–t.”

DDG also mentioned that he’s considering legal action, keeping track of the days he goes without seeing Halo. He implied that his relationship with Halle is strained, accusing her of using co-parenting as leverage.

His comments come shortly after Halle shared a sweet video of Halo reacting to her role in The Little Mermaid.

Halle and DDG were together for over two years before splitting in October 2024, less than a year after welcoming their son.
