A judge has denied DDG’s request to prevent Halle Bailey from traveling outside the U.S. with their son — and she’s now cleared to fly abroad for work.

The 27-year-old rapper and YouTuber had recently filed a domestic violence restraining order against Halle, hoping to stop the 25-year-old singer and actress from taking their 17-month-old son, Halo, to Italy, where she’s set to film her upcoming movie Italianna with Bridgerton star Rege-Jean Page.

In court documents, DDG alleged that Halle posed an “imminent emotional and psychological risk” to Halo and accused her of being abusive, even claiming she had used threats of self-harm as emotional manipulation.

But on Thursday (June 5), the court sided with Halle. According to TMZ, the judge ruled she is free to travel internationally with her son for personal or professional reasons. She’s scheduled to depart for Italy on Saturday (June 7) to begin filming.

This latest motion comes just weeks after Halle was granted a restraining order of her own against DDG, with a judge awarding her temporary sole legal and physical custody of their child.

The relationship between Halle and DDG has been rocky and very public, especially in recent months. What started as a high-profile romance soon turned into a contentious legal battle, with both sides lobbing serious accusations against each other.

As it stands now, Halle remains free to continue working abroad, and her custody status remains unchanged. Whether this marks the end of their court battles or just the latest chapter remains to be seen. But one thing is clear — Halle’s going to Italy, and her career isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
