Demi Lovato is BACK, y’all.
After months of radio silence and keeping out of the limelight to focus on her recovery, the 26-year-old singer has taken to social media for the first time since rehab. Demi shared her first post on Instagram since leaving the rehabilitation facility she’d been in for months.
And girl made her return in the most relevant, most inspiring way — by expressing her thankfulness at having been able to vote!
On Tuesday (November 6), Demi embraced the opportunity to share her thoughts on voting, declaring to the world how glad she is to be back home, and proudly exercising her rights at the polls.
She uploaded a photo of herself at the polls, wearing a denim jacket, black jeans, and a huge smile on her gorgeous face.
Along with the snap, which shows her looking happy, healthy, and beautiful – an incredible sight to see following the events of this year which saw her relapse and suffer a life-threatening overdose – Demi wrote a message of empowerment and positivity.
Read her inspiring words right here:
“I am so grateful to be home in time to vote!
One vote can make a difference, so make sure your voice is heard! 🇺🇸 now go out and #VOTE!!!!”
This marks Demi’s first Instagram activity since she broke her silence in August after being hospitalized over the summer following her overdose. And we are so overjoyed to see that she seems to be truly doing much better these days.
A source dished on Monday (November 5) that Demi has done a complete 180 since her OD – and that she’s still very focused on her recovery and sticking with her treatment:
“Demi is happy and healthy has done a complete 180 since she overdosed. Her 90 days in rehab have truly turned her life around. She wants to remain out of rehab. She has a sober coach and a complete support system.
Demi has struggled for so long with addiction and her friends and family couldn’t be more proud of her work. This process has been incredibly beneficial to Demi in so many ways. She is not only clean and sober but she has an entirely new lifestyle.”
We are so rooting for you, Demi!
Meanwhile, in Demi Lovato ex-boyfriend news…

On Tuesday (November 6), Wilmer held an Election Night celebration at Goodnight Charlie’s in Houston, Texas. The 38-year-old raised a glass of Johnnie Walker Black Label, and gave a moving speech in both English and Spanish eloquently highlighting the importance of diversity, democracy, and voting.
