Demi Lovato is getting ready to say “I do” — and it’s happening very soon.
According to a report from TMZ on Wednesday, May 14, the pop star and her fiancé, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes, are planning to get married over Memorial Day weekend. While the exact date and venue haven’t been revealed, it looks like the couple are just days away from their big celebration.
Lovato, 32, and Lutes, 34, first crossed paths in January 2022 while collaborating on her song “Substance.” Sparks clearly flew, because by August 2022, they went public with their relationship. A few months later, Lovato opened up to Teen Vogue about her early feelings for Lutes, admitting, “I instantly had a crush.”
Since then, their bond has only grown stronger. “I live and breathe for our connection,” she told Teen Vogue. “Everything I do, I wish I was with him. I see my future with him. I see growing old with him.”
Their love story took a major leap forward in December 2023 when Jutes proposed in what PEOPLE described as a “personal and intimate proposal” in Los Angeles. The moment was just as meaningful as it sounds, and Lovato clearly felt the same.
By September 2024, she shared even more about their relationship in another interview with PEOPLE. “I’d waited my whole life for him,” she said. “It’s very grounding to have a partner that is so supportive, so loving, so caring. It’s very easy to stay centered with him because I love him so much and he treats me so amazing.”
With wedding bells ringing soon, fans can’t wait to see how the pair celebrates their love. The details may be under wraps, but if their story so far is any indication, this ceremony is going to be all heart.
