It’s a joyous occasion for Rihanna, and well wishes are pouring in for the new mother — perhaps even from an infamous ex of hers?
It was announced on Thursday (May 19) that Riri and A$AP Rocky had welcomed their first child together. Shortly after that, things got even more interesting! Fans noticed that following the couple’s happy news, Chris Brown took to social media to post a cryptic and at the same time seemingly telling message.
He went on Instagram and posted the word “Congratulations” on his Instagram Story. No, he did not include his ex-girlfriend by name, but he did include a pregnant woman emoji and added a red heart and prayer hands beside it.
What he wrote, the emojis he included, and most especially the timing of it all has led fans to believe that Chris may have been sending a congratulatory message to Riri in response to her giving birth and becoming a mom for the first time.
This is not the first time that Chris has reached out to her on social media since the two broke up in 2013. A few years ago, he took to the comments section of one of her posts on Instagram, to send her a message.
