Eminem’s oldest daughter Alaina Scott is setting the record straight amid talk that her dad missed her wedding.
The 30-year-old mental health advocate tied the knot with her longtime love Matt Moeller earlier this month. Fans were unsure however if Eminem was in attendance on the big day because he seemingly was not featured in any photos that Alaina shared.
Alaina cleared the air in a new interview with People about her wedding. She made it very, very clear that her father was right by her side before she said “I do.” She shared that it was a family affair, with her sister Haillie Jade as her maid of honor during the nuptials.
She gushed about her big day:
“I had an 80-ft black and white checkered aisle and my dad walked me down the aisle.
He wasn’t going to miss that.”
She said that her guest list was exclusive and they kept the wedding very intimate:
“Getting married is a sacred thing and we wanted to be surrounded by people who share in our daily lives. We did something super untraditional and didn’t allow many plus ones. This was important to us.”
Alaina sweetly declared:
“None of this would have been possible without my Dad. I’m so blessed.”
