Kaley Cuoco recently celebrated five years of love with hubby Karl Cook, and went on Instagram to share what was supposed to be a sweet anniversary tribute.
“Happy 5 years to the weirdest person I know! 🤣♥️ I don’t remember a moment before you entered my life.. what a boring life that must have been! I love you @mrtankcook !♥️♥️♥️,” she captioned a sweet photo of the two of them kissing with their masks on.
But it seems one of her exes is protesting that bit about the past. Her Big Bang Theory co-star Johnny Galecki – a.k.a. Leonard to Kaley’s Penny on the show – hopped on the comments section to and wrote: “Um.”
Don’t worry, it’s all just some good ribbing between friendly exes. Kaley responded to Johnny’s comment, writing, “LOL.”
She also went on Instagram Stories to share a funny screen grab of her text exchange with Johnny, where she shared an article about his comment and went “LOL” – to which Johnny replied “Ha!” Kaley also added a sticker that read “That’s the tea!” and tagged Johnny in the post.
These two are hilarious!
If you didn’t know, Kaley and Johnny used to date way back in the early days of Big Bang.
“So we dated really early on for almost two years,” Kaley recalled during an interview on Dax Shepard’s podcast, Armchair Expert, last year. “It was very early on in the show. I remember when we did the pilot, I was just crushing so hard on Galecki. … I had such a crush on him, and I didn’t think he felt that way about me.”
The relationship didn’t work out, but once they managed to overcome the post-breakup awkwardness, they managed to stay really good friends – and ended up becoming closer than ever.
“We got together and just fell mad for each other for about two years. But then we broke up,” she said. “Luckily, Johnny and I came out of it so brilliantly. We are closer today than we ever were.”
And Johnny is totally cool with Karl. Kaley even shared a photo of the two goofing off together on the show’s set when Karl visited her.
“Ummmmmm then this happened 🙈🙈 @sanctionedjohnnygalecki get off my man! 😂 @mrtankcook,” she captioned a photo of the two men playfully hugging on the Sheldon’s seat, which she posted in March 2017.
Loving the way these two have managed to stay such good friends!
