There are rumors swirling around that Katharine McPhee is expecting her first child with husband David Foster and fans believe that the actress’ recent Instagram Story may have just confirmed the happy news.
In photos published by People on Tuesday (October 6), the couple was snapped in Montecito, California – and Kat was sporting was looks to be like a noticeable baby bump.
A source recently told Entertainment Tonight, “Katharine and David are expecting their first child together and the couple is very excited.”
Apparently, they’ve “discussed having kids early on and were on the same page.”
Kat herself seemed to confirm the news on social media – when she was gifted with some Aperol Spritz, which is one of her favorite drinks. Sharing the gift on her IG Story, she noted, “I won’t be drinking this any time soon, wink wink, but I’m very excited!”
This would be Katharine’s first child; David is already dad to five adult daughters – 34-year-old Jordan, 38-year-old Erin, 39-year-old Sara, 46-year-old Amy and 50-year-old Allison – from previous relationships.
The couple’s reps are yet to respond to requests for comment.
Kat and David were also recently spotted out on a double date with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at Lucky’s Steakhouse in Montecito. Kat’s longtime pal, Meghan Markle, and her hubby, Prince Harry recently settled into their new home in the area.
Meghan and Prince Harry have also recently shared some exciting news of their own – their one-year-old son, Archie, has taken his first steps.
In celebration of the International Day of the Girl, the couple joined Malala Yousafzai and reflected on how the recent months have allowed them to spend more time as a family.
“We were both there for his first steps. His first run, his first fall, his first everything,” Harry revealed.
“In so many ways we are fortunate to be able to have this time to watch him grow, and in the absence of COVID, we would be traveling and working more. We’d miss a lot of those moments,” Meghan added.
