Last week, Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly got the rumor mill buzzing with engagement speculations after the actress was spotted wearing a massive bling on ~that~ finger.
The actress was snapped with the huge sparkler on Thursday (January 28), when she accompanied MGK (real name Colson Baker) to his Saturday Night Live rehearsals in New York City – he performed on the show over the weekend.
So, are they or aren’t they? Well, neither of them directly addressed the speculations. However, Megan did go on Instagram Story to share a photo of her left hand with a ring that reads “F–k you,” seemingly responding to the circulating rumors.
The love birds have been dating since spring of last year, confirming their romance in June – Megan also called MGK her “twin flame” in their first joint interview in July. Soon after that, MGK made their relationship Instagram official and by September, reports came out that the couple have taken more strides in their relationship – according to Us Weekly, Megan introduced MGK to her three sons, whom she shared with ex Brian Austin Green.
However, a source tells People that they are definitely not engaged right now – Megan is still finalizing her divorce from BAG.
“They are very serious and plan on spending the future together,” the source said. “There will be an engagement at some point, but they are not engaged now.”
“Megan needs her divorce to be finalized before she can fully move on. She is very happy though,” the source said.
“She is focused on making sure her boys are doing well. Co-parenting has been tricky at times, but everyone is doing better now. Brian has moved on and is happier as well,” the insider adds.
But it’s not unlikely that the two might get to that point some day – a source told Entertainment Tonight in December that MGK can already see himself settling down with Megan.
“MGK and Megan make each other laugh and that’s a big thing for Megan. They keep each other smiling.…MGK totally sees marriage in his future with Megan and friends could one hundred percent see them getting engaged within the next year,” the source told Entertainment Tonight.
