Fans think the Jonas Brothers may have just revealed the title of their upcoming album.
The Jonas Brothers have announced that they’re dropping two new songs on Friday (May 15) titled “X” and “5 More Minutes.”
“Ask and you shall receive… X and 5 More Minutes are dropping this Friday 5/15! #XV,” they wrote on Instagram.
The post also featured an animated teaser that featured the letters X and V put together.
Now, fans are wondering what’s up with those two letters – specifically why they’re being put together.
“Is this… the album name…? Bc XV years of the Jonas Brothers? Or are we reaching…” one fan pondered.
“What if #XV is the title of their new album since XV is 15 in Roman numerals and it’ll also be the 15th anniversary this year of when they started the Jonas Brothers…..” another fan theorized.
Another fan shared a similar line of thought, “15th anniversary of the band. X released on the 15th. V = 5 More Minutes. XV = 15. ladies and gentlemen… i present to you the 2020 jonas brothers album: XV”
“Does anyone else think the new @jonasbrothers album is called XV?,” one person asked. “If it was just the two songs being released, surely it would be X & V, wouldn’t it??
Apparently, this isn’t the first time that Nick, Joe and Kevin have put those very letters on display. One sleuth-y fan shared a video of their performance at the 2020 GRAMMYs, which featured the letters X and V in lights at the end.
“dude what…. it was right in front of us this entire time…,” one fan wrote alongside a screenshot.
Kevin actually retweeted it with an angel emoji, seemingly confirming that it is indeed an Easter egg.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the JoBros’ second album since getting the band back together.
Speaking of reunions, Prince Harry and Prince William are reportedly “back in touch.”
Amid reported tensions and rumored feuds between the Cambridges and the Sussexes, facing the challenges of the recent months seem to have prompted the brothers to re-strengthen their bond.
As a refresher, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced earlier this year that they were stepping down as “senior” members of the royal family. They’ve since relocated to Los Angeles following their transition from royal duties, amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Prince Harry and Prince William’s dad, Prince Charles, also tested for coronavirus. He’s since recovered, but, apparently, his battle with COVID-19 was what sparked the brothers to start talking again.
“There have been clearly some quite major rifts in that relationship, but things have got better and I know that William and Harry are in touch on the phone,” royal expert Katie Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight. “They have done video calls together, they have done a lot of family birthdays and I think with Prince Charles not being well, that really forced the brothers to pick up the phone and get back in touch.”
And it looks like they’re both looking forward to putting all the drama behind them – the reported tensions between Kate and Meghan are pretty much over as well.
Katie continues, “I think there is a sense of relief on both sides that this high drama is now a thing of the past. The Sussexes are free to get on with their new lives [and] the Cambridges can get back to their old lives without all the upset and drama that was clearly a big deal behind the scenes. I think Kate and William miss Harry and Meghan to a degree, but certainly they miss Harry [being] around and part of their lives.”
And Katie believes the royals have all been keeping in touch via Zoom – for the Queen’s birthday and Archie’s first birthday as well.
Looks like the Fab Four is back together – virtually, of course.
