Happy Birthday, Zendaya!
Today mark’s Zendaya’s 25th trip around the sun – and a special message from a certain Spider-Man co-star has fans buzzing.
Tom Holland went on Instagram very early on Wednesday (September 1) to share a sweet message for Zendaya on her special day. And fans can’t get enough of the way he began his post
Posting a mirror selfie from the Spider-Man set, he addressed her as “My MJ,” referencing her character in the franchise.
“Have the happiest of birthdays,” he continued, adding, “Gimme a call when your [sic] up xxx.”
Fans have been shipping Tom and Zendaya ever since they starred together in 2017’s Spider-Man: Far From Home. However, over the years, they’ve repeatedly maintained that are just friends.
They’ve also been linked with other people. In 2019, Tom was rumored to be dating Olivia Bolton while Zendaya sparked dating speculations with her Euphoria co-star, Jacob Elordi. Their respective rumored romances appear to have since fizzled out though.
TomDaya romance rumors got a second wind in July when Tom and Zendaya were caught on camera packing on the PDA during a sunset drive around Los Angeles and were spotted spending the Fourth Of July weekend together. Speculations about their dating status were fueled even more when they were photographed attending a wedding together in August.
The two will be sharing the screen again in Spider-Man: No Way Home slated for release on in December.
So far, neither have publicly spoken out about their rumored romance. And Tom’s very cryptic “My MJ” is generating more questions than answers.
