Jennifer Lopez has been firing up the Internet with her smokin’ hot photos on social media. And back in January, one particular comment caused a stir among fans.
On Day 9 of JLo’s and A-Rod’s #10DayChallenge on Instagram, when the “Medicine” songstress shared a photo of her uber fit figure in athletic wear, one of JLo’s ex-boyfriends couldn’t help leaving and “OMG” with a heart eyes emoji in the comments.
Sean “Diddy” Combs, whom the Hustlers star dated waaay back in 1999 to 2001, was responsible for the comment – and a few raised eyebrows.
But, JLo says it’s all good, and there’s no bad blood between her ex and her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez. During and interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, she dished that Diddy actually reached out and apologized to A-Rod for being a little too forward.
“He wrote Alex after. He was like, ‘I didn’t mean anything by it. I have nothing but respect for you guys. I’m so happy for you guys,'” she shared in the interview. “We were together so many years ago. It’s just like … we were kids, you know?”
So, there you have it folks, it’s all good and there’s no drama.
And besides, everybody’s totally shipping JLo and A-Rod (Ellen DeGeneres included), and can’t wait to see them walk down the aisle – especially since they announced their engagement last month.
But according to the World Of Dance judge, it might be a while before they say “I do.” The reason? Work.
In another interview, this time on WKTU’s Cubby & Carolina In The Morning, the multi-hyphenate star revealed that they haven’t even begun planning the wedding.
“We just got engaged, and then right afterwards we started working right away and we’re working the rest of the year, so I don’t know what’s going to happen,” she explains in the interview, which releases on Wednesday. “We haven’t decided if we’re going to squeeze it in somewhere or we’re going to wait.”
“I really don’t know yet,” she adds. “It’s easy [to talk about], I’m not lying right now.”
JLo just dropped her hot new track with French Montana, “Medicine,” and is currently shooting her upcoming movie with Cardi B, Lili Reinhart and Constance Wu. Then, in June, she’ll be hitting the road for her It’s My Party Tour.
Alex, on the other hand, has his Sunday nights booked with his gig as ESPN Sunday Night Baseball’s analyst, and managing his company A-Rod Corp, among other endeavors.
On top of that, the couple also recently launched a sunglass collection with Australian brand Quay.
Talk about B-U-S-Y!
But, it’s so nice to hear that these two MAKE TIME to spend some quality time together. Alex has been supporting his lady love on the set of Hustlers – he even helped her with research by going to a strip club with her! And when she hits the road this summer, JLo shares that Alex would be joining them from time to time.
“The kids will probably be with me the whole time,” she said in the interview, referring to her 11-year-old twins Emme and Max. “Alex has Sunday night baseball [for ESPN], so he’ll be in and out. He told me, ‘I’m definitely at opening night, I’m definitely at closing night, in between we’ll figure it out.'”
Could this power couple be anymore #CoupleGoals?
