Diplo is getting candid about his sexuality.
In a new appearance on Emily Ratajkowski’s podcast High low with EmRata, the 44-year-old entertainment elaborated a little about his sexuality – and also dropped some revelations about his sex life.
The conversation stemmed from Emily and Diplo talking about social media, with Diplo mentioning that his For You page on TikTok has videos featuring men chopping wood. Emily said:
“We should talk about what you said to me last night that you’re a little gay….Is that how you know that you’re not totally straight, from the wood-chopping [TikTok]?”
To this, Diplo gamely replied:
“Maybe. The wood-chopping guys are kinda sexy. I mean they’re hot guys, but I don’t know if that’s going to be the thing that’s going to set me over into the gay side totally.”
He went on to state:
“I don’t want to define that I’m gay but I think the best answer I have is I’m not, not gay.”
Diplo said that there are some men whom he thinks he “could date” but that he’s “not really aroused by men that much.” He added:
“[When I was young], you had gay kids at school and gay cousins or whatever, but it was different than it is now. I thought it was, like, weird to be gay.”
He also declared:
“I’m sure I’ve gotten a blowj*b from a guy before.
Yeah. 100. For sure.”
