Dove Cameron, Salma Hayek and More Remember Cameron Boyce on 1-Year Anniversary of His Death

Monday (July 6) marked one year since the Cameron Boyce tragically passed away in his sleep at the age of 20, and his many friends, co-stars and fans took to social media to remember him with touching messages and sweet throwback photos and videos.

Dove Cameron (via Instagram): “one year without your light. something cosmic broke the day you left, something seemingly so impossible, so unjust, so unnatural. the universe cannot repair the gap in her weaving. you were huge. i will love you forever, just like this.”

Cameron’s dad, Victor Boyce, also shared a photo of him and his son with a group of other kids, captioned, “His memory is a blessing ❤️

The Cameron Boyce Foundation shared a video montage about Cameron discussing his untimely passing to bring awareness to SUDEP – Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy.

“Today, though our hearts are heavy, we choose to honor the incredible legacy Cameron leaves behind, and our commitment to use our resources to make our world a better place. It’s a sad day as another young talent has passed away.

Disney Channel Latin America star, Sebastian Athie, who starred in the Argentine soccer series O11CE and the Mexican drama, La Rosa de Guadalupe, has died at the age of 24.

Disney Channel Latin America confirmed the news in a statement (written in Spanish) on Twitter Sunday (July 5).

“Rest in peace, Sebas. Your art and your smile stay forever. We regret the departure of Sebastián Athie and we will always remember him for his talent, companionship, professionalism and above all, enormous heart. We accompany his family, friends and fans in his farewell,” the translation read, via Entertainment Tonight.

His cause of death has not been revealed.

Sebastian’s Twitter activity comprise mostly of retweets of sayings, quotes and random facts from other accounts – his last tweet was a retweet about how sleeping next to a loved one can reduce depression.
