Drake Bell’s wife Janet is calling out Josh Peck in a big way.
Josh is currently doing a major press tour for his new book “Happy People Are Annoying” — and the topic of his former Drake & Bell co-star has come up quite often as he’s been making the rounds. Josh has been candidly answering questions about Drake and opening up about their relationship.
Well, it turns out Janet is not pleased with what Josh is saying about her husband, and she is vowing that she will no longer stay silent as long as “lies” happen.
A few days ago, Josh made an appearance at the “BFFs” podcast. He spoke about his and Drake’s reunion at the 2017 VMAs. A few months prior to their reunion, Drake has expressed his unhappiness at not being invited to Josh’s wedding.
Josh said on the podcast:
“I remember we were at the MTV Video Music Awards [in 2017] and I see him there and he sees me. I go up to him, and this might be the most Sopranos thing I have ever done, I looked at him and I go, ‘Go apologize to my wife right now.’ He made a beeline for my wife and I see him do a whole 5-minute performance of an apology.”
Janet got wind of what Josh said and immediately took to social media to clarify a few things based on her perspective. On her Instagram story, she said this:
“Josh Peck is a total piece of sh*t. I stay quiet until lies happen. And…the fact that I was there at the VMAs, I was next to Drake. I was the one who told him Josh was coming [up to us with the camera.] I was there, heard it all. Drake was never threatened by Josh….that’s actual hilarious. Bro you’re not tough.
Also, yea, Drake apologized to your wife because you asked him nicely to.
We actually hung out after that. Multiple times. We talked multiple times since then. You’re a f*cking liar. A f*cking liar, Josh.”
Josh had also recently stated that he and Drake have not been in each other’s lives for a long time.
