Drake enjoyed a romantic evening with girlfriend Johanna Leia at the Dodgers Stadium – just the two of them!
On Thursday (July 8), helicopters snapped 34-year-old rapper and the 40-year-old model having an intimate dinner date on Los Angeles’ field.
It appears Drizzy went all out to set up the romantic dinner. With the team out of town, they had the place to themselves – thanks to a big donation to the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation, per TMZ.
The couple also skipped the ballpark snacks and enjoyed a fancy dinner in the dugout near the field’s third-base – complete with white table cloth and flowers. The table was laid out with multiple dishes – and they even had a personal bartender mixing up drinks.
According to TMZ, the pair have been dating for a couple of months. Sources told the outlet “they first met months ago through high school basketball.”
Drake often attends basketball games at the Sierra Canyon H.S. to catch LeBron James’ son, Bronny James, who is a member of the school’s basketball team, play. Johanna’s son, Amari Bailey, is also on the team – and is ranked as one of the country’s best teen players, according to ESPN.
The rapper reportedly “hit it off” with Amari and has been giving him advice in matters of “finances, fame, and life, in general” as well as “how to handle all the attention and pressure that comes with being a star player.” And Drake reportedly met Johanna through Amari.
Last month, Drake was photographed sitting at one of the school’s basketball games – seated in between Johanna and Michael B. Jordan.
While Drake and Johanna are yet to go public with their romance, it’s speculated that their big date night could mean it’s more than just a casual thing. The two also notably follow each other on social media – and Drake has “liked” some of Johanna’s post.
