Dating can be hard – and, it looks like some celebrities are in the same boat.

Drew Barrymore recently opened up about trying online dating, and she says it didn’t go so well.

“I did terribly,” Drew admitted on What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. “I got stood up and I didn’t match with anyone and my friends gave me this bloated sense of false confidence. They were like ‘You should try it, you will do great.’ It was a car wreck.”

She seems to be looking back on it as a learning experience though.

“I definitely had fun with it,” she added. “And I’ve always wanted to go on a blind date but my life got in the way of that. So, I thought online dating my satiate that desire. Yeah no, it was a real wakeup call.”

Apparently, Drew tried to do online dating on the app, Raya – an exclusive members-only dating app that describes itself as “an exclusive platform for people in creative industries” – the same app that Channing Tatum supposedly signed up for when he reportedly tried online dating last year.

When asked if she saw a lot of other celebrities on the app, Drew didn’t drop any names, but she joked there were so many single stars, it was like “looking through an Us Weekly.”

As for the guy who stood up Drew, well, he wasn’t a fellow celeb. “I got stood up by a guy who owned a restaurant,” she shared.
