There’s a new addition to the Westwick family! Gossip Girl alum Ed Westwick and actress Amy Jackson have officially welcomed their first child together.
The couple shared the exciting news on Instagram on Monday, March 24, revealing their son’s name alongside a first glimpse of the newborn.
“Welcome to the world, baby boy,” Ed wrote, adding the name: Oscar Alexander Westwick 🤍.
The news comes just months after the couple tied the knot in a stunning Italian wedding in August 2024. Ed and Amy, who began dating in 2021, have been inseparable ever since.
“We were invited separately to a race day with Aston Martin at Silverstone racetrack in 2021. I was there with a friend who knew her,” Ed recalled in an interview with Hello! magazine, reminiscing about how they first met.
“I saw her and thought, ‘I’m going to make my move!’ We chatted for a bit, and I asked her if she wanted to meet me for a coffee.”
That first meeting turned into something special, with Ed remembering, “We had a wonderful day and she beat me. Her lap time was a lot better than mine! She’s been making my heart race from day one!”
Their romance quickly blossomed, with both of them settling in London’s Hampstead. “At the time, she was looking to move to Hampstead in London and I was also looking there at the time. I promise! She moved and I moved shortly afterward to my own place there but very close to each other,” Ed shared.
Now, with baby Oscar in the picture, their love story has entered a beautiful new chapter.
