Elisabeth Moss just pulled off one of Hollywood’s best-kept secrets: she became a mom! The 42-year-old actress confirmed the exciting news while promoting the sixth and final season of The Handmaid’s Tale at the 2025 PaleyFest L.A.

During an interview, Moss casually mentioned that she had brought her baby to set, revealing for the first time that she had given birth.

“I feel so fortunate to be able to do that,” she told People with a huge smile. “That’s it. Period.”

Moss went on to acknowledge that not all parents have that privilege, adding, “Any of us who had the privilege of being able to bring our kids or see our kids at work, we would every single time be like, ‘Aren’t we lucky to get to do that?’”

The actress, who first announced her pregnancy in January 2024, has kept all details about her baby under wraps. She has yet to reveal the name or gender, staying true to her notoriously private nature.

Moss has always been selective about what she shares publicly. Though she’s one of Hollywood’s most celebrated actors, she rarely speaks about her personal life. “I love my work, and that’s what I want to talk about,” she once told The Guardian. “That’s where my focus is.”

Despite keeping things low-key, the timing of her baby’s arrival couldn’t be more fitting. The final season of The Handmaid’s Tale premieres April 8, with three new episodes dropping first, followed by weekly releases leading up to the series finale on May 27.

Congrats to Elisabeth on this exciting new chapter!
