A bombshell revelation from Ellen Barkin about Johnny Depp is spreading like wildfire online.

In her 2019 deposition testimony that was part of the 6,000 pages of pre-trial documents unsealed recently in Johnny’s lawsuit against Amber Heard, Ellen claimed that Johnny gave her drugs right before the first time they slept together.

Ellen and Johnny were in a relationship for several months and ended after the two finished filming Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas in 1997.

In the deposition, the 68-year-old actress said that she and Johnny were friends before their relationship turned sexual. She testified about the first time he expressed interest in taking their platonic relationship in a more intimate direction, and said:

“He came on to me in the living room of my house, pulled me onto his lap and said something like, ‘Oh, come on Ellen’ or whatever. I protested a little and then — not too much. And that was that.”

She was asked to clarify her statement about how she “protested” to which Ellen said Johnny did not assault her, before going on to reveal:

“He gave me a Quaalude and asked me if I wanted to f**k.”

Much of Ellen’s deposition was shown in court during the trial. But it must be noted that her claim that Johnny gave her a Quaalude was not included in the evidence that was presented to the jury.
