Evan Rachel Wood has made a shocking revelation: She says that Marilyn Manson “essentially raped” her during the filming of his music video for Heart-Shaped Glasses, in which she co-starred back in 2007 when she was 19 years old.

The actress dropped this bombshell in part one of the documentary Phoenix Rising. She dated that Marilyn, with whom she was in a relationship with at the time, committed his “first crime” against her on the video shoot.

She went into detail about what happened, recalling how she did not give her consent to have real sex with Marilyn on camera:

“It’s nothing like I thought it was going to be. We’re doing things that were not what was pitched to me.

We had discussed a simulated sex scene, but once the cameras were rolling, he started penetrating me for real.

I had never agreed to that.”

The 34-year-old star stated that it was the most unprofessional set she had ever been on:

“I’m a professional actress, I’ve been doing this my whole life. I’ve never been on a set that unprofessional in my life up until this day.”

She referred to the shoot as “complete chaos,” saying:

“I did not feel safe. No one was looking after me.”

Evan Rachel also spoke about how she did not know how to speak up then because she was conditioned not to:

“I didn’t know how to advocate for myself or know how to say no because I had been conditioned and trained to never talk back, to just soldier through.”

She went on to say that afterwards, she “felt disgusting and that I had done something shameful, and I could tell that the crew was very uncomfortable and nobody knew what to do.”

She declared about Marilyn:

“I was coerced into a commercial sex act under false pretenses. That’s when the first crime was committed against me.

I was essentially raped on-camera.”

Marilyn’s lawyer, Howard King, has responded to Evan Rachel’s allegations with this statement:

“Of all the false claims that Evan Rachel Wood has made about Brian Warner, her imaginative retelling of the making of the ‘Heart-Shaped Glasses’ music video 15 years ago is the most brazen and easiest to disprove, because there were multiple witnesses.”
