Fans can’t wait for Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik to welcome their little bundle of joy.
As a refresher, news that the couple were expecting their first child together hit the headlines towards the end of April – Gigi herself confirmed the happy news just a few days later.
She’s since been sharing some photos and updates on her pregnancy with fans – she was at 33 weeks at the end of August.
Her sister, Bella, recently shared a photo with her sister taken in June, where both of them showed off their stomachs. Bella joked that she has a “bun in the oven” as well, but hers is from a burger while Gigi’s is from Zayn.
On Wednesday (September 16), Gigi’s dad, Mohamed, shared a heartfetlt letter on Instagram where he wrote, “Hello little grandchild, it is me. My heart as happy as can be. I wish for you the sun and moon. I wish for you a happy time. Know that Grandpa’s always near, I’ll do anything, anything for you my dear. When I heard you were on the way, I smiled and wiped a tear away. I cried the tear because I knew my heart would always belong to you.”
The letter caused a frenzy among fans, with many wondering if it meant that the Gigi had already given birth. Mohamed has since taken down the post.
So has she given birth yet?
Just Jared reports that before deleting the post, Mohamed replied to a fan asking the same question in the comments. His response was, “no not yet.”
However, with Gigi nearing her due date – a full term pregnancy is considered 40 weeks – excited fans are definitely waiting on tenterhooks for the baby news.
