Taylor Swift’s romantic life has been a source of speculation for fans for the longest time.
The “Cardigan” singer is currently dating Joe Alwyn, although they’re yet to make their relationship public. However, fans have already been speculating that the two may have even gotten engaged – or maybe even married.
Tay may have just put all those fan theories about her relationship status to rest though. In a recent interview with EW, she referred to Joe as her “boyfriend.”
“It was weird because I had never made an album and not played it for my girlfriends or told my friends. The only people who knew were the people that I was making it with, my boyfriend, my family, and then my management team. So that’s the smallest number of people I’ve ever had know about something,” she shared with the outlet about who knew she was making her album, folklore. “I’m usually playing it for everyone that I’m friends with. So, I had a lot of friends texting me things like, ‘Why didn’t you say on our everyday Facetimes you were making a record?’”
Joe and Taylor were first linked in 2017. While they’ve been spotted by paparazzi together on occasion and posted photos on social media that hint they’re together, following Taylor’s previous high profile romances, it seems that the couple prefer to keep their relationship on the DL.
And it appears Tay has also already gotten into the holiday spirit – she’s sent out her Christmas cards, and even spread some holiday cheer.
One fan went on Twitter to share a snap of Tay’s annual Christmas card this year – which features her feline furbabies, Olivia, Meredith and Benjamin, on the cover.
“Wishing you a season of moments so wonderful, they become folklore,” the card reads. “Love, Taylor Swift and everyone at 13 Management.”
She also helped out two moms who have been struggling financially amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The two women, Nikki Cornwell of Nashville, Tennessee, and Shelbie Selewski of Harrison Township, Michigan, were featured in a Washington Post article shining a light on Americans who have been facing eviction, unemployment and struggling to pay their bills amid the crisis.
Tay decided to help them out by donating $13,000 to each of the their GoFundMe campaigns – and wrote each of them a heartfelt note.
“Nikki, I read about you in the Washington Post and thought it was really brave of you to share your story. I’m so sorry for everything you’ve had to go through this year and wanted to send you this gift, from one Nashville girl to another. Love, Taylor,” she wrote on Nikki’s GoFundMe page.
On Shelbie’s GoFundMe page, she wrote, “Shelbie, I’m sending you this gift after reading about you in the Washington Post. No one should have to feel the kind of stress that’s been put on you. I hope you and your beautiful family have a great holiday season. Love, Taylor.”
This isn’t the first time Taylor put up her personal money to help out those struggling amid the coronavirus pandemic. Back in March, she gave several fans who couldn’t afford rent or were struggling to find work because of the shutdown gifts of $3,000 each.
