Pete Davidson and Phoebe Dynevor have been stirring up dating speculations of late – and it hasn’t escaped fans that, in a cute coincidence, the maybe-couple already have something in common: Their initials!
And, fans are convinced they are indeed dating after they were spotted wearing matching pendants of their mutual initals PD.
According to E! news, Phoebe has reportedly worn the piece of jewelry multiple times – including in a recent YouTube Q&A.
And, when Pete went on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, he could be seen sporting a very similar-looking monogrammed pendant with the letters PD on a silver chain. Around his neck. Outside his shirt. Very visible.
Is his pendant his subtle way of showing Phoebe he’s thinking of her, and vice versa? Or do they really just like their own initials so much they want wear it around their necks all the time?
ICYMI, towards the end of March, reports came out that the two may have struck up a romance – so much so that Pete flew all the way to the U.K. to visit Phoebe, who’s filming a project there.
According to The Sun, the two were spotted around North London as well as in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, which also happens to be where Phoebe’s mom, actress Sally Dynevor, lives. An eyewitness also claims that Pete and Phoebe were allegedly holding hands. Sources say they’re now dating long distance – since Pete is working in New York while Phoebe’s in England.
Fueling the romance rumors even more are some changes Pete recently made – like moving out of his mom’s basement and getting his own place. And, in a Zoom session with Marquette University students where he was featured as a speaker, Pete also appeared to confirm that he’s no longer single, saying, “I’m with my celebrity crush.”
He didn’t name names though – which may have something to do with a 2019 interview he did where he vowed to keep his relationships as “private as possible.”
“I’m as discrete as can be. I know now not to do PDA. I’m a very PDA [person], though. I’m a lovey person,” he told Paper magazine.
