It’s been four months since Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik became members of club parenthood – they welcomed their little girl in September. While both are keeping much of the baby details on the DL – including face and name – Gigi recently revealed an exciting detail about her pregnancy journey: the exact date when she found out she had a bun in the oven!
ICYMI, news broke last April that Gigi and Zayn were expecting their first child together – and Gigi officially confirmed the happy news just a few days after. She’s since been slowly sharing details of her pregnancy journey with fans on social media – including walking runways during fashion week early on in her pregnancy.
On Monday (January 18), Gigi shared an Instagram Story of her walking the runway of the Jacquemus show in Paris, France exactly one year ago. Apparently, she still didn’t know she was already pregnant at the time.
When a fan asked more about her pregnancy timeline on Twitter, Gigi revealed, “I found out the day before the Tom Ford show 🤯 I was so nauseous backstage 😅 but I learned I could kinda control it if I continuously ate, so my mom would pack me snacks before each show 🥖 🧀 bless.”
The Tom Ford show took place on February 7, 2020 in Hollywood, which means Gigi found out she was preggers on February 6, 2020!
Last week, Zayn dropped a new album called Nobody Is Listening. But, apparently, many ARE listening, because after hearing the track “When Love’s Around,” many fans were convinced he’s got marriage on the brain, based on the some of the lyrics.
Here are the lyrics in question:
“Never feels right / Never feel that type of way / But I need you in my life / Yeah you could be my wife for real / Only takes a woman / To show you what it means to love.”
Fans are also theorizing that Zayn may have put a hidden clue about their daughter’s name somewhere in the album.
“Zayn’s baby’s name is Calamity,” one fan guessed, referencing the track “Better.”
“TBH I think Zayn’s daughter’s name is River or something close to it. If I’m right I WILL scream!” another fans theorized, pointing to the album’s last track, “River Road.”
The couple are yet to reveal the name of their baby girl, but previous theories that her name is Dorothea, which is the title of one of Taylor Swift’s song in her Evermore album, have been debunked.
