We already know Gigi Hadid is awesome, but her dad may have just boosted fans’ admiration for the model and new mom even more.
In a recent Instagram post, Mohamed Hadid is dishing on some fun facts about his eldest daughter, sharing the first part of his list of “20 things that you did not know about Gigi Hadid.”
“1. Self Made.. never took a single Dollar from her parents,” he wrote.
And just to give an idea of how well she’s doing for herself, in a 2018 list by Forbes, Gigi was ranked as the seventh highest paid model in the world with a cool $9.5 million payday.
Mohamed also gave fans a clue as to just how long Gigi has been posing in front of the camera. “Started modeling for Baby Guess when she was in Khai’s age,” he shared as number two.
Gigi and boyfriend Zayn Malik welcomed their baby girl Khai in September, which would make her around seven months now. Gigi is now 26. You do the math.
There’s no doubt that Gigi has been slaying in the modeling world. But, according to her dad, she may have pursued a very different career path at one point – as number five, he wrote, “She was [accepted in] New York University forensic criminal psychology after high school.”
Woah! You go, girl!
Okay, so Mohamed didn’t exactly drop the full 20 like he initially mentioned – just seven for now – but he did promise to share more soon.
