Grimes is very serious about her desire to have surgery done so that her ears will seem to have pointed, elf-like lobes.
However, her former partner Elon Musk is apparently not a fan of what she wants to do.
This week, Grimes had taken to her social media to ask fans about having “elf ear mods done.” She was asking for feedback on the procedure when Elon took to her comments to share his opinion on the matter.
This is what Grimes wrote:
“Has anyone done elf ear mods with a good outcome? Im scared about ear cartilage having a hard time healing. Especially as a musician this surgery seems risky but I’ve wanted it my whole life. Curious about peoples experiences!”
She added that she was also interested in getting other modifications done to her body, and revealed that she had made an appointment with a plastic surgeon two years ago to get work done but did not follow through with it.
In between her open exchange with her followers, Elon offered his thoughts, writing:
“The downside of elf ear surgery probably outweighs the upside.”
To this, Grimes jokingly responded:
“Tbh this sounds like a job for crispr. Sad to be born just a few generations too early.”
Crispr is a form of gene editing.
