Halsey is officially a mom!
She and boyfriend Alev Aydin welcomed their first child together last week.
The 26-year-old singer shared the happy news with fans on Instagram, sharing a black-and-white photo from her hospital bed cradling her newborn, with Alev seated beside her.
“Gratitude. For the most “rare” and euphoric birth. Powered by love,” she captioned the sweet family photo, adding her baby’s name and birthdate: “Ender Ridley Aydin, 7/14/2021”
She also shared an intimate photo of her baby breastfeeding in the post.
Halsey surprised fans with her pregnancy announcement in January of this year, posting a series of photos taken by photographer Sam Dameshek showing off her baby bump.
The post was aptly captioned: “surprise! 🍼🌈👼🏻”
Alev hopped on the comments to write, “Heart so full, I love you, sweetness,” to which Halsey replied, “I love you!!!!!! And I love this mini human already.”
She also wore a rainbow crochet top in the photoshoot – a subtle reminder that she’s expecting a “rainbow baby” – Halsey opened up about suffering a pregnancy loss in the past during a 2018 interview with The Doctors.
In March, she set the record straight on speculations surrounding her pregnancy: “My pregnancy was 100% planned, and I tried very hard for this bb.”
