After her short but sweet cameo on A Star Is Born, Halsey is about take on her first starring role in an upcoming series.
She will be starring alongside Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney in the TV adaptation of Jessica Goodman’s best-seller, They Wish They Were Us. The brand-new show will be titled The Player’s Table.
Halsey will be playing Rachel Calloway, who’s brother Graham is suspected of killing his girlfriend. Sydney will be playing Jill Newman, who sets off to find out what really happened to Graham’s girlfriend, who also happens to be her bestie, the night she was killed.
Sydney shared the exciting news on her Instagram, sharing a photo of her and Halsey, captioned, “the biggest secret ive ever kept ✨ so excited to star alongside such a talented creative genius. can’t think of anyone id rather do this with #ThePlayersTable”
Halsey also shared the news on her IG, writing, “I am the luckiest girl in the world because I get to make my acting debut with my favorite human-being @sydney_sweeney.” She also revealed that not only was she starring on the show – she will be producing it too!.
“You guys are gonna fall in love with The Players Table. I simply cannot wait….” she added.
This isn’t the first time these two have worked together – Syndey starred in Halsey’s “Graveyard” music video – which got a VMA nod.
