Halsey is stepping into the world of television! The 30-year-old singer-songwriter, known for hits like “The End,” is set to make her mark behind the scenes as the creator, writer, and executive producer of a dark comedy series titled Bloodlust.
The series is being developed for Prime Video, with acclaimed filmmaker Ti West, known for MaXXXine, attached as director and fellow executive producer. Joining the team are showrunner and EP Mark Friedman, along with Halsey’s manager, Anthony Li, also serving as an executive producer.
According to Variety, the project has been in the works for a while, but details are only now starting to emerge. While the exact plot remains under wraps, the collaboration between Halsey and Ti West has fans buzzing.
This isn’t the first time Halsey and West have worked together. They previously teamed up for MaXXXine, the upcoming horror film in which Ti wrote, directed, and produced, while Halsey appeared in a role. Their creative chemistry from that project seems to have sparked this new venture.
Though Halsey has become a household name in music, she’s no stranger to branching out creatively. With Bloodlust, she’s taking her artistry to new heights, exploring the world of scripted television.
Stay tuned for more updates as Bloodlust develops—it sounds like Halsey is ready to shake things up in the best way possible.
