After nearly a year of romance, Harry Styles and Taylor Russell have decided to part ways, marking the end of their love story.
Reports surfaced on Monday (May 20) that the 30-year-old musician and the 29-year-old actress had called it quits following a recent trip to Japan. According to The Sun, the couple faced challenges in their relationship after returning from their journey, leading to their decision to take some time apart.
A source close to the couple revealed, “Harry and Taylor have ended their relationship. They went through a rough patch after their trip to Japan and are taking some time apart. He’s been in America and she’s been in London. They made a lovely couple and it was obvious Taylor made Harry happy.”
However, despite their affection for each other, recent strains in their relationship prompted them to reassess their situation. “Things have become strained recently though and they’ve taken some time out.”
Their love story began to unfold publicly in June 2023 when Harry and Taylor were first spotted together, sparking romance rumors. The following month, Taylor was seen dancing in the VIP section at one of Harry’s concerts in Vienna, Austria, further fueling speculation about their relationship.
Confirmation of their romance seemingly came in August when they were photographed getting cozy at the opening night gala of Taylor’s play, “The Effect,” in London.
Earlier this year, Harry and Taylor were spotted enjoying a vacation with friends, soaking up the sun on the beaches of Anguilla alongside Harry’s close pal James Corden and a few others.
