Harry Styles brought on some major summer feels with the music video for his track “Watermelon Sugar.”
Although the song was released back in November 2019, Harry only just dropped the fruity, beachy-themed music video earlier this week.
The video is a stark contrast to our everyday reality, where people are practicing social distancing amid the coronavirus pandemic. However, the imagery definitely taps into our the human desire for physical touch – Harry and his onscreen pals indulge in physical contact while enjoying various fruits like watermelons and strawberries. It’s even prefaced with a title card that reads: “THIS VIDEO IS DEDICATED TO TOUCHING.”
However, Harry made it clear that it’s not something he encourages in the current global health crisis. “DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME. Practice social distancing. Watermelon Sugar Video Out Now,” he wrote on his Instagram announcement.
Still, looks like the video just made watermelon this season’s sexiest fruit – and got fans craving a tropical getaway and a sultry summer fling. And, yes, the thirst is very real.

Some of Harry’s co-stars recently opened up about their experience on the set of the music video – and dubbed Harry the “consent king.”
Ephrata, a model, went on Instagram Live with fellow model Aalany McMahan and to share some of the positive experiences they had on set.
“The people were telling him to touch my hair and play with it and he was like, ‘Wait, wait, wait, pause — can I even touch your hair? Is that even okay?'” Ephrata said. “And I was like, ‘Yeah.’ That’s so nice. That was really sweet.”
“He was very huge on the consent,” Aalany agreed, and Ephrata pronounced Harry as the “Consent king!”
Ephrata returned the favor, too. “They told me to kiss him, and I felt like I had to ask, too,” she recounted. “I was like, ‘Are you sure?’ and he was like, ‘Yes, go ahead!'”
“That’s why it was so fun because everybody was so like comfortable,” Ephrata added.
“It was just natural,” Aalany said.
“Nothing felt like forced, people weren’t stuck up on set,” Ephrata said.
