Heather Morris is apologizing to those who may have been “triggered” by her “insensitive” words.

On Monday (December 21), Heather took to Twitter again with a statement apologizing to anyone who may have been “triggered” by her previous comments.

“To all those who felt triggered by my message, I want to sincerely apologize for the harm I caused,” Heather said. “Whether you, a friend, a family member has been a victim of pedophilia, I realize my words may have been insensitive to your experience and for that I can’t express enough how sorry I am.”

Three of the original Glee stars have passed away – Naya Rivera, Cory Monteith, and Mark Salling – however, most fans only choose to remember two.

Mark, who died by suicide in January 2018, was facing jail time and having to register as a sex offender at the time. He had pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography just weeks before his death.

When a fan account posted photos from Glee’s season 2 Christmas episode on Twitter last week – one group photo showed Mark’s face covered with a vomit face emoji.

The Glee actress hopped on the thread to call out the fan, tweeting, “the vomit face on Marks [sic] face is offensive.”

Heather’s comments sparked backlash from fans, and the actress returned to Twitter the next day to share her side on why she chooses to remember all three of her late co-stars.

“I don’t feel the need to ever justify something because somethings are better left unsaid. Y’all who have lots of things to say, I get it, I UNDERSTAND you… some things are unforgivable. But this holiday season, amongst ALL holiday seasons is INCREDIBLE [sic] hard for so many of us,” Heather tweeted.

She continued, “We did not loose [sic] just 2 cast members, we lost 3. And it is SO incredible [sic] tough to have to act like that 3rd one is invisible, because even though his actions are unjustifiable, he was a part of our family at one point and he was mentally SICK. Yes pedophelia is a sickness but… Although I don’t want to have to say all that, its truthful. So THANK YOU for treated me with such disrespect and unkindness during a time that I can’t get through a day without balling [sic] my eyes out at the loss of my entire Glee family… thank you.”
