Award shows usually kick off the year with nights of red carpet glamour and celebration. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, they’ve been pushed back a little later than usual this year. But that doesn’t make it any less exciting – especially the nominees.
The Golden Globes traditionally kicks off awards season on the first Sunday of January. While the 78th Golden Gobes will still technically kick off the season, it’s been pushed back almost two months – to the end of the February. The evening’s ceremonies will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler from the opposite ends of the country.
But before the award show’s live broadcast on February 28th, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, along with Sarah Jessica Parker and Taraji P. Henson are dropping the names of the nominees.
