Since then, both Pete and Ariana have moved on with their lives. Ariana has been with her real estate tycoon boyfriend Dalton Gomez for most of 2020 — her first public relationship since splitting up with Pete.
Pete, on the other hand, has had a string of high profile hookups and relationships since the breakup with Ariana, among them Kate Beckinsale, Margaret Qualley, and Kaia Gerber. These days, the SNL comedian seems to be single.
But when he met a fan with the same name as his ex-fiance, well, the most hilarious thing happened!
When the 27-year-old star was leaving NBC Studios this past weekend after a taping of Saturday Night Live, a group of fans was waiting for him on the sidewalk. He went to greet them, and encountered a fan named, you guessed it, Ariana!
The fan, Arianna Justine, shared a video on TikTok of what happened when she met Pete. In the video, she tells Pete:
“My name’s Arianna, too!”
And how did Pete respond to that? Well, here’s what he jokingly told Arianna:
“Oh, well, hello. Let’s get married.”
LOL.
Arianna then let out a big scream after his hilarious comment!
Her video on TikTok is captioned with this: “I met Pete Davidson & I’m in love.”
Great to see Pete being able to joke good-naturedly about the past! And he sure made a fan very happy that night too. All’s well that ends well, indeed.
