Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian are no longer in each other’s lives.
The former NBA player, who was just evicted from Celebrity Big Brother, is opening up about where he now stands with his ex-wife.
Speaking to ET’s Kevin Frazier, Lamar revealed that he and Khloe no loner speak, stating:
“It would be a blessing just to be in her presence, but I understand that s**t happened and people move on in their lives.
If I could be her friend that would just be a blessing.”
He went on to acknowledge how he was often asked and often spoke about Khloe when he was on Big Brother, candidly saying:
“They asked me a lot about Khloe on this show… Anytime a woman stands by you after making such a huge mistake and is there for you when I couldn’t walk, or talk, or even wipe my own backside… I don’t think you could ever forget about that person, especially if you married this person after 30 days of knowing each other.”
Lamar, 42, said of his talking about Khloe so much on the show:
“I just try to be as honest and transparent about our relationship as possible.
Maybe it might help somebody else who has a position of power because of who they’re married to, what they retained on their own, maybe help make their own right decision. You never know reasoning, just trying to find out why I’m still here in a lot of cases.”
Lamar and Khloe got married in September 2009 after just one month of dating. She filed for divorce in 2013, then put the divorce on hold when he was hospitalized for drug overdoes in 2015. She helped him get sober and recover, and then reinstated her divorce filing.
They were divorced in December 2016.
