Pedro Pascal is setting the record straight about why he doesn’t talk much about his dating life—and it’s not because he’s mysterious.
In a new interview with Vanity Fair, the 50-year-old star revealed, “I always feel perplexed when I’m identified in whatever form of media as a ‘highly private person,’ because that’s the opposite of me. I’m very unprivate in my private life. I just know that personal relationships are such a complex thing to navigate even without having this enormous lens on them.”
As for whether he wants children, Pascal shared, “I’ve had dreams of taking my kids to the movies the way my parents took me. So I guess I want a shortcut to an interesting human being who is my child who will go see something that I want to see.”
He also reflected on a viral moment from the 2024 Critics’ Choice Awards, where he attended with his arm in a sling. Host Chelsea Handler joked that 2023 was “the year everyone became horny for Pedro Pascal.”
Pascal, however, wasn’t feeling the sex symbol status that night. “I was in a sling, I was overweight, and when the camera cut to me, I didn’t think anything could be further from the truth.”
