Hilary Burton is not happy with Candace Cameron Bure – and she is not holding back.

The One Tree Hill star slammed the former Full House actress over the comments that she made about GAC family and how the new network does not have plans to feature same-sex couples in their movies.

In case you missed it, Cameron just gave an interview to WSJ Magazine about her decision to leave the Hallmark Channel family and launch a new partnership with GAC. GAC is a network that was started bu Bill Abbott, a former Hallmark exec.

Cameron stated in the interview:

“My heart wants to tell stories that have more meaning and purpose and depth behind them. I knew that the people behind Great American Family were Christians that love the Lord and wanted to promote faith programming and good family entertainment.”

She aded that Hallmark now “basically is a completely different network than when I started because of the change of leadership.”

Candace also made some statements about same-sex couples that are not sitting well with many people – Hilary included.

When asked if GAC would be featuring same-sex couples in their films, Candace declared:

“I think that Great American Family will keep traditional marriage at the core.”

Bill then chimed in:

“It’s certainly the year 2022, so we’re aware of the trends. There’s no whiteboard that says, ‘Yes, this’ or ‘No, we’ll never go here.’”

Hilary took to social media to share a scathing response to the comments. She bluntly stated:

“Bigot. I don’t remember Jesus liking hypocrites like Candy. But sure. Make your money, honey.

You ride that prejudice wave all the way to the bank.”

Hilary didn’t stop there – she also called our GAC and Bill:

“Now they’re just openly admitting their bigotry. I called their sh-t out years ago when Abbott was at Hallmark. Glad that dumped him.

Being LGBTQ isn’t a ‘trend.’ That guy and his network are disgusting. You too Candy. There is nothing untraditional about same-sex couples.”
