Hilary Duff is feeling a rush of reflection as she marks the 10th anniversary of her album Breathe In. Breathe Out. — a moment that feels both nostalgic and a little wild.

The 37-year-old entertainer’s last album, featuring the much-talked-about single “Sparks”, was released back on June 12, 2015. Hilary celebrated the anniversary by sharing a heartfelt Instagram post — and it’s fueling rumors that new tunes might be on the way.

“It’s hard to believe that Breathe in Breathe out is 10 years old today. While that time in my life has some bright spots, some blurry spots and some uncomfortable pain, I look back with fondness and a now knowing that I ended up exactly where I needed to be,” Hilary wrote.

She added, “My photo roll from 2015 is truly lol. The selfies PR team was strong and a sepia filter hated to see me coming. I had/have the cutest son on planet earth and we really seemed to pack it in with adventure that year. Coolio nails were on the rise, I still had Dubs (rip buddy—not a day goes by that I don’t miss you), I cant remember what season of Younger I was shooting but that kept me bi-coastal and busy. Dubsmash was clearly the precursor to TikTok lip syncs and hints that things were touch and go in my personal life were clearly displayed by my chop jobs and hair color choices inspired by Crayola. Lauren has been riding with me so long – bless her. If it weren’t for Britney I would have never wanted to be a pop star. And Luca’s obsession with the Disney Cars movie had us buying rare ones from eBay for years to come.”

Hilary seemed to hint at new tunes, adding, “While Breathe In Breathe Out didn’t have major success, there was still some work on the record that felt authentic. I see you all blaming yourselves on TikTok, not actually your fault (but really it was), just kidding, but don’t let it happen again…next time…okay.”

“BIBO brought Matt into my world and that’s the real reason we have to love her. And lest we not forget the infamous dance moves that continue to entertain you and make me die a little inside. And no- I didn’t purchase that jacket (whew),” Hilary concluded. “If you were one of the five people who listened to BIBO, drop your favorite song below. Love you”

Her husband, Matthew Koma, also hopped into the anniversary celebration, adding a sweet note: “10 yeras. Dang. Still remember writing this with @danbook1 in Woodland Hills and then flirting with the talent.” Matthew is credited as a songwriter and producer on several tracks from the album, alongside Ed Sheeran, Colbie Caillat, Kara DioGuardi, Hilary, and more.
